About The Author

Denis OÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Driscoll was born in Ballydehob, County Cork, southwest Ireland in 1944. He was educated at St. FinbarrÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s College, Cork and St. PatrickÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s College of Education, Dublin. Commandant Joseph OÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Keefe, champion Irish army athlete, was his PE lecturer. Denis obtained an Honours Diploma in 1966 and taught children for twelve years, making PE his lifelong study.
