Wouldn’t it be fascinating if young spiritual seekers could chat with biblical characters to learn their perception of how we live our lives today? Based on both fact and faction, Echoes from the Old Testament: Wisdom for Teens transports young adults back in time to present an overview of several outstanding women in the Bible.
Dr. Quinn Morris, a psychologist who has worked with children of all ages in both the secular and religious arenas, provides a glimpse into the lives of fifteen historical women in order to offer teens a better understanding of how the Old Testament can help them deal with today’s challenges. Morris offers a brief narrative of each biblical character, follows with questions from young people, and ends with introspective responses from each woman. As Eve, Miriam, Dinah, Bathsheba, Delilah, and other significant women touch on topics such as love, faith, promiscuity, marriage, obedience, and family, they provide inspiration to those who want to know more about the Bible and how it can enrich their quality of life.
Echoes from the Old Testament: Wisdom for Teens shares valuable messages from the Old Testament that will encourage lively discussions among young people regarding success, failure, and the consequences of both.
