Peaceful Poetry

Peaceful Poetry

by Justin Widener

About The Book

Over the most recent years, people in this country and this world have become hopeless and discouraged due to the pandemic. Jobs were lost, businesses were closed, and children were forced to stay home. With all that has happened, people are looking for peace and something that will give them hope. Peaceful poetry is just that book that was written to bring people the peace and hope that they seek.

Peaceful poetry should bring its readers the feeling that there can be a tomorrow, and this doesn’t have to be the end. It was written with others in mind, and even though not everyone is a believer in God, we all have something we believe in.

About The Author

Justine Widener was born and raised in Northwest Iowa, on a dairy farm. At nine years old, he was hit by a car and was in a coma for two weeks. After high school, he joined the Iowa Army National Guard and served for only six and half years because he started having seizures. But he was miraculously cured. He became an EMT with the local ambulance and moved to Denver, Colorado. He faced another struggle when he tore his rotator cuff and couldn’t finish paramedic school. He kept his eyes on the Lord until he met his wife in church. That was when his future began. They married soon after and have four children.

Years before, James had written a poem for his hometown. He had also started writing a book but never got to finish it. He wrote a poem for each of his children when they were born. He got great responses for his poems and got a calling to continue writing. He finished fifty-two poems about his pastor’s Sunday sermons within an hour.
