RISEN FROM THE ASHES is a psychological crime novel. Its anti-hero is a psychopathic man who has made a success in a company based in the City of London. He is CEO of Soltice, a company supplying night-viewers and army transport vehicles, and other ancillary equipment to third world countries.

He decides to work out a plan to take substantial money from his successful company by a number of ruses the last involving his own apparent murder by the company's chief financial officer. The novel concerns his escape from the police and the chasing pack who are anxious to exonerate the CFO. Can they catch him? When people get in his way it may be the worse for them.

Studied the master's course at University College London. Insurance Law Company Law and Planning

Advice on Intellectual Property Contracts and negotiate contracts in the Media Industry also deal with Trusts and a Foundation but prefer litigation and negotiation strategy as a freelance consultant. Now I have been appointed to Carr and Kaye Solicitors in a similar role.

I have worked as a solicitor since I qualified in 1973 with various breaks when I attempted to retire. I worked in Dubai as Group Legal Advisor (1996-1998) and then Vice President Legal (1998-2001) and finally as a free-zone based legal consultant (from 2002). I have been a resident of the UAE from 1996 till March 2014.
