Sissie awakes to find herself back in seventeen hundred and ninety-four, where she is captured by the Comanche Indians. Peter Peterson a young man of about twenty-four comes to her aid. His family owns a trading post on the frontier and trade with the Indians. The Peterson trading post is not too far from the Indian Village. Peter, Shadow Walker tries to help Sissie find her family to no avail. The chief of the Comanche village decides that Sissie is a spirit from a vision he had and tries to keep her. Sissie escapes and falls hitting her head again. She wakes to find herself in a hospital bed. Her doctor is a young intern that could be Shadow Walker’s twin. Did she really go back in time, or was it all a nightmare? Will she ever be the same again?
