About The Author

C. M. Velasquez lives in Queens, New York City. She has lived there for most of her adult life. Despite having grassroots in New York City, she is an Afro-Latina who was born in Puerto Rico.

Writing has become her passion and focus since her retirement in October 2022. She embodies a lot of her experiences working in city health and hospital corporations. She enjoyed working with her colleagues, sharing working experiences, laughter, and sadness. They were like family to her. She dedicates her writing to her family and colleagues.
