The Cat Who Ate Spinach/El Gato Que Comia Las Espinacas

by Dr. Ida Acuña-Garza

About The Book

This story is about a rescued yellow tabby cat who lived in a home with five other cats but he was different. He had an inquisitive personality! When he was not sleeping, he was following Mom around, especially when she was in the kitchen. His favorite food was cat treats but there was one thing that really made him happy - eating greens. His favorite was fresh spinach. After checking with the veterinarian, Mom found out that it was okay to feed fresh spinach to Copper once in a while. Copper felt strong after he ate his spinach. He dreamed of being a Super Cat. He could climb to the highest treetop and he could run faster than any other cats or dogs in the neighborhood. His dreams became great adventures and he felt that he was the protector of the whole neighborhood and especially his human mom. He was presented with an opportunity to show his courage and strength and received a medal and lots of love from his family for saving mom from danger in the garden.
