About The Author
JP Darcey was born in Lincolnshire, England, in 1953. She moved to Canada in 1975 with her husband and two young sons. She now lives alone in a remote part of County Donegal, Ireland—a beautiful place that inspires her to write. The Shadow in the Bell Tower is JP's first published novel. The sequel, The Ghost of Pudding Hill, is now two-thirds complete.
JP has enjoyed writing from an early age and written poetry and short stories. She also took a course through the Institute of Children’s Literature in the US, writing for children and teenagers.
Mysteries, murder, and detective stories are a prevalent genre, and JP has natural talent for this kind of storytelling.
