About The Author

Marvin Crutchfield was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1966 to Harvey James and Anna Mae Crutchfield. He has four older siblings: Harvetta, Pam, Troy, and Rose. In 1976, MarvinÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s parents separated and the family moved to San Francisco, California, in 1976, when he was ten years old. His father and mother passed away in 1982 and 1983, respectively. After his parentsÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ passing, he was raised by his sister Pam until he was nineteen years old, where he got his own apartment. He married Shirley Diane Crutchfield in 1998. They have two sons, Dominique and Brian. Marvin began writing poetry in 2000 and it has been his passion ever since.
