Jeff Richard, a fresh high school graduate, enlisted into the US Marine Corps and found himself in the heart of the Vietnam War, where the enemy was just outside of the compound. The camp is bombed by incoming rockets daily, which at times creates mass destruction. Jeff learns much about the country from his friend, Vick. Together they visit the outer village where marines spend time away from the camp. Through Vick, Jeff then meets Rich and TerryÃ¢â‚¬â€two marines living in the same hut, creating trouble everywhere. Rich is always looked at as a con artist and thief while Terry, his partner, is a followerÃ¢â‚¬â€not too bright when it comes to doing the right thing.
