About The Author

In 1992, my husband, daughter, and I, moved from Barrhead Alberta to Kelowna and began a new life in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Here our daughter grew and had a daughter of her own, and in 2008 our wonderful granddaughter, Lily, was born.

She was so small, only 4 lbs. 3 oz., but such a big blessing, and she grew strong, growing into the delightful young lady she is today. Lily is a blessing, every child is a blessing, and the reason and inspiration for this story.

Since then, my husband and I have moved back to Alberta and now reside on the shores of Skeleton Lake Narrows.
