May 31, 1985. Anticipating his new assignment to Kunsan Air Base, Jacob T. Anderson, a US Air Force combat security police ranger, arrives in the Republic of South Korea. But unknown, to him, on a hill named Samm-Ri, just south of the major city of Chon’cheon, is Rebel Station—his new home. Then, as if it could not get worse, it does. He meets his new, incompetent, and complacent commander, Captain Shawn Beckman, and all hope for survival vanishes. So he comes up with a plan that will hopefully give his men the Reapers, an edge. But it will take all twenty-four days to do it, and the captain can’t know anything about it.

The book shows the experience of the writer. As an NCO myself I enjoyed the way he handled the captain. I recommend this book.
